April 2011

April is a month full of activities and projects to commemorate and celebrate several special dates. On the 22nd day, we are taking action to raise awareness to protect the natural environment and demonstrate our firm commitment to keep on making the right decisions to promote a change in our lifestyles. For this purpose, we are celebrating Earth Day organising an entire week of activities focused on environment issues. Poster 2 gives us the proper setting for our pledge-an-act green campaign.
The 23rd day is full of symbols and traditions for many countries in Europe as well as the world of literature. So, find activities to pay tribute to Cervantes, Shakespeare and inca Garcilaso de la Vega on the World Book and Copyright Day. By the end of he month, Easter brings traditions from ancient times and cultures: hares, rabbits, eggs and cards combine well to make this celebration special.
Dedicated to pet lovers, poster 1 presents a wide variety of breeds of cats and dogs to talk about, describe and compare. Also, find a new series of number flashcards.
