Let the Right One In

Let the Right One in isn’t your run of the mill vampire / horror story. Sure, one of the main characters happens to be a vampire but the horror actually originates from its humanity. At its core, this story is a deeply touching tale about friendship, loyalty and loneliness. The unusual connection between these two children is both devastatingly beautiful and highly unusual. Present day issues such as such as bullying, pedophilia, drugs, prostitution, theft and murder are also thrown into the mix making it a multi faceted contemporary panorama that brings everything to the surface we as a race so desperately try to hide.
