The nature of this practical guide requires an explanation. In our earnest desire to promote the Spiritist Doctrine further in the United States, we realize the tremendous need of material in the English language. Only through instructive books and comprehensible brochures will we, undoubtedly, be able to spread the principlesof the Doctrine and create and form new groups of knowledgeable workers. Since we departed Brazil nine years ago, our efforts have been directed toward this goal.
