U.S. News & World Report magazine offers national and world news, investigative reports, cultural coverage, debate on science and religion as well as business and technology news. Founded in 1933 as United States News, it merged with World Report in 1948. It is one of the best American media outlets, according to Mondo Times members. U.S. News & World Report is a newsmagazine published in Washington, D.C. Along with Time and Newsweek, it has been for many years a leading news weekly, although it focused more than its counterparts on political, economic, health and education stories. It is particularly well known for its ranking system and annual reports on American colleges, graduate schools and hospitals.
