Jayne Netley Mayhews Cross Stitch Flowers

Jayne Netley Mayhew has created an exquisite new collection of floral designs in cross stitch, taken from her own original paintings. Jayne's new series of cross stitch pictures is a superb blend of detailed individual flower studies and stunning groupings that hold appeal for everyone. Projects range in size and complexity, from a delicate border of violets added to a pillowcase and a traditional Victorian-style bouquet made into a footstool cover, to a simple vase of cottage flowers framed as a picture and a waistcoat embroidered with twining clematis.

About the Author
Jayne Netley Mayhew's style has developed over more than 20 years since her first exhibition and more than 10 years since her first book was published. Now she find working in watercolour, oil and pencil can create a painting from life that is full of the detail she loves. This is Jayne's sixth book for David & Charles and the second
that she has produced entirely on her own. Jayne and her husband live in the heart of Dartmoor, in Devon.
