Simon Kernick is in his thirties, and lives with his wife and two young children near London. His first novel, The Business of Dying and his fourth, A Good Day to Die which was shortlisted for the CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger for the best thriller of 2005, features DS Dennis Milne. Burn Gorman was most recently seen as Guppy in the BBC's acclaimed dramatisation of Bleak House. He also appeared recently in BBC3's comedy drama Funland and in the movie Layer Cake. Burn, born in Hollywoodand brought up in London, has numerous stage, TV, film and radio roles to his credit.
